Synopsis
Western tinged psychedelic unit, Spindrift have a new video for the song "When I Was Free." The video was directed by Rob Bray as a homage to photographer Stanley Sanger. Sanger, an enigmatic photography legend led a solitary and mysterious existence. He captured thousands of images of Spindrift in the desert at Hicksville Tralier Palace before disappearing. A pioneer in the timelapse effect, painstakingly shooting each image and developing by hand, this video is animated by Bray with the thousands of images Sanger shot of Spindrift. His lone instruction via a note to friend Rob Bray was "Rob, the image must live, as the moment will die. Always S."
